Reading: “…The Paraclete, the HOLY SPIRIT, Whom the FATHER will send in My Name, will teach you everything and remind you of all I have said to you.” (Jn 14:26)

 “About the Gifts of the SPIRIT, brothers, I want you to be quite certain… I want to make it clear to you that no one who says a curse on JESUS can be speaking in the SPIRIT of GOD, and nobody is able to say, ‘JESUS is LORD’ except in the HOLY SPIRIT.” (I Cor 12: 1-3)      

Meditation: UNDERSTANDING, as a Gift of the HOLY SPIRIT, helps us to grasp the deep meaning of the revealed truths of our religion, to better appreciate them and to put them into practice. Our Faith ceases to be sterile and inactive, but inspires us to change our mode of life and to live fully our Faith according to our state of life.

Prayer: Come, O SPIRIT of UNDERSTANDING, and enlighten our minds, that we may know and believe all the Mysteries of Salvation; and may merit at last to see the eternal Light in Thy Light.
