The recordings presented in those lists do not always correspond 100% to the hymns used in the Offices: the lyrics might be slightly different in parts of the verses in the Latin hymns and the number of verses also might be different.

The hymns that have  proper recordings have a download option which the other ones, played on a simple keyboard, don’t have.

The hymns come with an indication of the Office where they can be found with their score. For Virgin Mary’s Offices, only one place is given as they come in several Offices.

Many audio files were recorded during live events and the quality of these recordings is not as good as recordings made in studios. The recordings are not of the same spiritual and artistic quality. They can at least serve as a tutorial for the tune for those who cannot read the musical notes.

The presence of a recording in the Offices is indicated  by a big green note in the title of the hymn when there is a proper recording and  by a smaller note if it is only the tune of one verse played on a keyboard.

The main part of the recordings come from the Liberhymnarius.org site, and from YouTube.

The hymns used in the maronite Saints Offices have been borrowed to the Maronite episcopate in New York.

N.B. The  hymns open in another tab than the Office, so you have the possibility to follow the Office in one tab and listen simultaneously to the hymn from another one.
