Reading: “Try to discover what the LORD wants of you; take no part in the futile works of darkness...Be very careful about the sort of lives you lead, like intelligent  and not like  senseless  people. Make the best of present time for it is a wicked age. This is why you must not be thoughtless but must recognize what is the Will of the SPIRIT…Be filled with the SPIRIT…always and everywhere giving thanks to GOD Who is FATHER in the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.” (Eph 4, 10-20)                                                                                                        

Meditation: The Gift of COUNSEL is “supernatural common sense”. It enables us to judge promptly and rightly what must be done, especially in difficult circumstances, to act in conformity with GOD’s Will in every concrete case  that confronts us in the course of our daily duties, as parents, as teachers, public servants, as Christian citizens.

Prayer: Come, O SPIRIT of COUNSEL, help and guide me in all my ways, that I may always do the Holy Will of GOD. Incline my heart to that which is good; turn it away from all that is evil, and direct me by the straight path of Thy Commandments to that goal of Eternal Life for which I long.
