R. The Light has risen, rejoice, O earth and heaven. The night has been cast out, and we have come out into the Light.

1. JESUS our LORD has filled the universe with splendor. His Light has driven away sorrow in the heat of death and decay.

أَشْـرَقَ النُّـورُ فَافْـرَحِـي أَيُّـهَا الْأَرْضُ وَالسَّــمَـاءْ طُـرِحَ الْلَّيْلُ خَـارِجًا وَخَـرَجْـنَـا إِلَـى الضِّـيَـاءْ

• إِنَّ يَـسُـوعَ رَبَّـنَـا غَـمَـرَ الْـكَـوْنَ بِـالْـبَـهَـاءْ نُـورُهُ طَـارَدَ الْأَسَى فِـي حِـمَـى الْـمَـوْتِ وَالْـفَـنَـاءْ

• وَسَـيَـأْتِـي بِـمَـجْـدِ عِنْـدَمَـا تَـنْـقَـضِي الدُّهُورْ فَـيَـلْـبَـسُ الْأَمْـوَاتُ فِـي لِـقَـائِـهِ أَجْـسَـادَ نُورْ

• يَـا مَـلِـيـكِـي مُـخَـلِّـصِـي وَبَـاعِـثِـي مِـنَ الْـمَـمَاتْ لِــيَ مِـنْ مَـوْتِـكَ الرَّجَـاءْ وَلِـي مَـحَـبَّـةُ الْـحَـيَـاةْ
